Join in on the Annual Green Generation: Campus & Community Sustainability Mixer tomorrow night, April 18th, 2013.
In honor of the 43rd Annual Celebration of Earth Day, the City of Long Beach Office of Sustainability, Green Long Beach!, CSULB’s Sustainability Task Force, CSULB Environmental Science & Policy Club, Green Campus, ASI, and the 49er shops invite you to spend the evening in the iconic Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens from 5-8pm.
The Green Generation Mixer is free to the public. Kick-off the city’s Earth Week celebrations by enjoying local green artists, listening to live musicians, admiring student environmental projects, discussing with sustainable community organizations, and taste testing a variety of delicous appetizers & drinks.
The keynote speaker of the evening will be CSULB’s wetland biologist Dr. Christine Whitcraft, an active member of on-campus environmental activism and researcher focused on local wetlands.
Both the CSULB University and Long Beach community have made incredible environmental advancements. This event strives to unite faculty, staff, students and community members to highlight these efforts.
