Starting Friday and running through the weekend is the International Quilt Festival. More than 500 quilts and textile artworks on display. Close to 80 different classes, lectures, and special events will be conducted. Shop at over 300 booths selling quilts, fabrics, books, patterns, notions, crafts, machines, and sewing supplies.

Now in its 20th year, the Long Beach Crawfish Festival combines the best Cajun, Zydeco, and New Orleans sounds of music, tons of fresh crawfish prepared Louisiana style and served by authentic Cajun chefs, giant food court, children’s area, dance floor, two stages and beach bars to create the largest Crawfish Festival outside of Louisiana, right here in Southern California!

Long Beach will celebrate its first annual Wilmore 9 Festival, a two-day event celebrating music, film and art. Music: 50+ bands ranging from local musicians to Hollywood headliners. There will be three main stages and one smaller acoustic stage in the Bungalow C art gallery. Film: Four + theaters will hold film screenings. Arts and DIY: Artists and photographers of all genres will be showing pieces in the galleries designated to the festival. Do-it-yourself artists will be demonstrating arts and crafts as well a selling their once of a kind pieces. And to top it all off there will be a beer garden featuring 5 local breweries. There will also be plenty of food and snacks to choose from!
