Inspector Ruffing is called to a remote house to investigate the headlong plunge of Patrick Roarke down the main staircase. He becomes involved in the lives of five alluring and dangerous women: Marcy, Viennese governess with a past; Mrs. Ravenscroft, flirtatious lady of the manor; Gillian, charming but demented daughter; Mrs. French, formidable and passionate cook, and Dolly, a terrified maid. They lead him through a bewildering labyrinth of contradictory versions of Patrick’s demise and that of the late Mr. Ravenscroft.

Frida Kahlo had a very special relationship with photography.

Besides her personal background – both her father, Guillermo Kahlo, and her maternal grandmother were professional photographers – she brought different uses to photography: she collected daguerreotypes and calling cards from the nineteenth century, she kept photographs that she also intervened upon, cutting things out from them, writing dedications on them and personalizing hem as if they were paintings.

Exhibition open March 15 – June 8, 2014.

Museum Hours:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm
